- How do I schedule a Hobby Party?
Its easy! Just see Ken or Steve for a tour of the party room.
- Is a deposit required?
A $200 non refundable deposit is required to reserve your party. The balance is due on the day of the party Cash or credit card only
- How many guests can I invite?
Your package includes 12 guests the birthday child and kids 2 and under are free
- What if I have more than 12 guests?
Additional guests are welcome! There is a $16.95 charge per additional guest up to a max of 20 guests total.
- Is there an additional charge for parents?
There is no additional charge for parents as spectators. Anyone that wants to participate in the activities must pay as an additional guest.
- What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?
Please come early to browse the store. The party room opens 5 minutes prior to your party.
- Do I need to stay for the party?
The party host and one additional responsible adult are required to stay for the party and must stay until all guests are picked up. Other adults are welcome to stay and enjoy the fun!
- Where are the bathrooms?
Bathrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. It is the party hosts responsibility to accompany all minors to the bathrooms.
- What is a slot car track?
Up to 8 guests can operate the slot car track together. Races are 2 minutes long. Other guests will be corner marshals cheering on the racers. At Willis Hobbies everybody is a winner so there are no prizes races are for fun.
- Who gets to run the trains?
The birthday child gets to be an Engineer and run the Train.
- What is Radio Control Flight Simulation?
Guests will experience the thrill of flying Radio Control Airplanes and Helicopters on our model simulators.
- When is the final guest count due?
We'll call you 5-7 days prior to to confirm your final guest count.
- Can I bring Food?
You may bring cake or cup cakes to your party. No other outside food or drink is permitted.
- Can I bring my own goodie bags or balloons?
Yes you are welcome to bring goodie bags and balloons.
- Is my party private?
Yes we only do one party at a time.
- What if I need to reschedule my party?
We require 14 days notice if you need to reschedule your party (your party must be rescheduled within 3 months of the original date). Remember that your deposit is non-refundable (sorry no exceptions).
